First, I had file sharing and network access for everyone allowed on some of my Windows 7/8 machines, therefore Windows 10 should not meddle and interfere, especially since everything worked smoothly before the upgrade. Second, there are no meaningful messages in the Event Log, which is the natural way of problem solving.

If I try and connect to it, it just says "Unidentified network" and "No Internet Access". Wi-Fi connection works fine, even if it is a bit slow.

I'm trying to network them in a homegroup no server using Windows 10. 1. They can't find each other (not all of them) 2. Check you LAN settings. You are connecting with the WIRED network which has the Unidentified Network. Pm the left side of the Network and Sharing Center is Change Adapter Settings. Make sure you are connected to the wireless device, doesn't seem like you are. Irv S.
